 7th SNOW AND MOUNTAIN TOURSIM WORLD CONGRESS
The Snow and Mountain Tourism World Congress, is a meeting supported by the World Tourism Organisation OMT and promoted by the Andorran Government and its seven Comu´s or town halls. At present and after 7 years of success, the meeting has positioned itself internationally and continues to do so strongly year after year amongst the professionals of the sector. The Congress was created with the commitment of all the implied parties, to be a forum of different opinions, objective and rigorous. A meeting where participants could exhibit and debate directly among colleagues and other professionals of the area about technological and productive developments that take place in the Mountain Tourism sector.
The town hall or Comu of la Massana is hosting this 7th edition of the Congress with the title: Mountain Tourism 2.0: New strategies of success. Recognised international experts will be presenting different possibilities of promotion to catch the attention and assure the loyalty of visitors and clients to our respective destinations, with the Internet as a platform and creating a virtual journey.

WHERE AND WHEN
The team of the Comu of La Massana and hosts of this congress are conscious that in the current
situation, any event must consider the basic sustainability factors to guarantee respect to our environment;
optimizing different possibilities like offering quality accommodation that apply a sustainability protocol,
choosing an efficient transport but respectful use of it, applying simple and easy recycling systems in
the headquarters of the congress and economising on the consumption of Co2. These factors are
obligatory in today's world to guarantee the success in the good use of resources, especially in zones
where nature plays an important role like in Andorra.
This operation and always under these premises for the future, will be mobilized to welcome over 300
participants. The congress members will include participants and companions from different countries
like Spain, France, Switzerland, Italy or Canada, though the most part of participants will be professionals of Andorra and different locations of the Catalan and Aragon Pyrenees as well as specialized journalists.
Regarding the location of the meeting, on this occasion and for the first time, the organizers of the congress have chosen the Exhibition and Congress Centre of Andorra la Vella as headquarters. The congress will take place on the 11th, 12th and 13th of April 2012. The congress will be located in the capital and city centre of Andorra during the first two days and will carry out the recreational and outdoor activities on the 13th of April in other valleys or parishes of the country.

A SPACE OF NETWORKING & BUSSINES
Following different demands and with the will of enriching the meeting, the
organisers of the 7th Snow and Mountain Tourism World Congress have
created a space to promote networking and business for the attendees.
There will be a designated integrated polyvalent area in the congress centre
where companies will have the possibility of directly exhibiting and presenting
their products and services linked with Snow Tourism.
The area designated for this activity will also be used for the coffee breaks as well as
press interviews, historical film presentations of touristic development and other specialized and
technological presentations.
